Brake Distribution Block:

The brake hose from the master cylinder terminates at this distribution block, which is used to "split" the single line from a master cylinder into the two lines that go to each brake caliper. In single-caliper systems, this block serves the purpose as being a brake line "joint", coupling the hose from the master cylinder to the hose to the single caliper.
